About the energy used to power the company: our numerous machines require large volumes of energy. Both PHE Thermal sites have an expansive solar panel system on their roofs. The production sites are almost energetically self-sufficient. The rest of the energy we use is provided by Repower, a clean energy supplier, with which we are certified.

At packaging level: we try as much as possible to pack our orders by minimizing the amount of plastic.

About our business means of transport: we try as much as possible to use our electric vehicle for all the necessary trips.

Why are PHEs environmentally sustainable?
The exchanger does not consume or produce energy, it saves it, to prevent it from being wasted.
Hence the ecological aspect of this element, which generates only ... energy savings!
Essential for optimizing the efficiency of the system in which it is inserted, it allows the heat to be exploited to its full potential.
In thermal systems, such as in a heating system of an apartment building, the heat exchanger acts as a separator: the pipes transport together with the water different types of debris and sediments that accumulate directly in the boiler, compromising its operation, at the same time. point of having to throw it away. The heat exchanger it is inserted as a "filter", preventing these elements from reaching the boiler.
Always at the service of sustainability, the inspectable plate heat exchanger has a structure designed to last over the years, in contrast to the trends of the current industry world, heat exchangers have a very slow obsolescence. In fact, after several years of use, when they become clogged, they can be opened, cleaned and they are as good as new, without having to replace them.
Furthermore, the heat exchanger is used in any production of energy from renewable sources from geothermal to cogeneration plants, or for the recovery of heat from waste water, in district heating, for heating with solar panels, up to the desalination of sea water.
Why is our production site in Morbello environmentally sustainable?
Another problem of our planet is the abandonment by man of vast areas, and the overexploitation of other more urbanized ones.
PHE Thermal has chosen, in contrast to the trend, to establish a production site in Morbello, a country town in the lower Piemonte region, far from big cities.
This site offers a huge space for production, at a low cost for the company, in comparison with the Genoa area.
Furthermore, the structure is almost energetically indipendent thanks to the photovoltaic system on the entire surface of the roof.
The frequent in-plant transportation from Genoa to Morbello take place as much as possible with our electric vehicle, recharged by the energy produced by solar panels, so we can say that the Sun offers us the journey between the two company sites!
